Bio

I knew since I taught my first flute lesson when I was a high school student that I wanted to continue sharing my love of flute and helping students find their success with the instrument. After graduating from UW-Milwaukee, I expanded to teaching classroom music in the schools for many years. My husband Martin who is a trombone and guitar teacher and I both love listening to all kinds of music and sharing our love for music with students.

BA-Music UW Milwaukee Master of Arts in Teaching-Cardinal Stritch

Teaching Experience:

I have taught almost 20 years of flute and 11 years of elementary general music in the schools

Styles Taught:

Classical, but am competent to help students find arrangements of pretty much anything they wish to play.

Methods Taught:

My go to is the Flute 101 series or Trevor Wye, but I am open to any studies that help the student reach their goals.
